⭐⭐⭐ We tried the Pho Bo here. The broth was actually tasty and flavorful, so I can’t say the soup was bad — it’s just not really our kind of pho. What disappointed us was the portion and overall value. We got one package of noodles, a lot of broth, and just a couple of very thinly sliced pieces of beef. The wait was also quite long. Considering the ingredients and portion size, I honestly didn’t understand the price or what makes this pho worth it. The broth is good, but the overall dish just didn’t feel like good value for the money. If you’re in the area and craving a really good bowl of noodles, I’d personally recommend walking across the street to Yugen and getting their ramen instead. That one is absolutely worth every dollar. 🍜

I love a restaurant where the workers and owners remember the names of their regular customers AND a restaurant where the owners take the time to talk to customers (whether dining in or ordering takeout AND regardless of whether they’re regulars or first-timers)! The workers and owners here at Sticky Rice Bites are very friendly and the lard nar and Lao iced coffee/café yen are the bomb! You have an option of protein and chewy or crispy noodles for the lard nar, and I chose beef and chewy noodles. The egg noodles have a wonderful taste. The meat’s tender. The sauce has a nice level of thickness and taste of soy sauce and fish sauce. They definitely improved this dish since I ordered it last June, as the sauce tasted more akin to a gravy from an American fried chicken restaurant and wasn’t at all to my liking. Not today, thankfully! The Lao iced coffee has a wonderful blend of coffee and sugar, and is certainly my favorite Lao iced coffee in the area (and the item I order the most when I visit this restaurant)! Authentic and delicious!! I’ve tried many Asian restaurants and this one gets it right. The owner,Nit, is on the floor, speaking with customers and making sure everyone is happy. I had the Beef Pho, which is the closest I have had to that which I had in Malaysia. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef with Fried rice. The pho had complex flavor profile that good pho is known to have. The Mongolian dish was vibrant in color, not too salty (as fried rice can be) and a balanced of heat, sweet and salty. We had both spring rolls and egg rolls to start-both were fresh and delicious. We opted for the Thai milk tea and it was a great sweet treat! No room for desserts! Come hungry and leave happy. 😋😊

We stopped in the middle of the afternoon and ordered Sukiyaki Noodle Soup with beef and chicken fried rice. The food came out fresh and hot- the portions were large. We both had hot tea and the presentation was very nice. Our server Tori was friendly and efficient. We’ll be back.
